Qualifications & Experience:
Hold a valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in severe needs or specialized settings Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support for elementary students (grades K-2) in a severe special education classroom Create and adapt curriculum and activities based on individualized education plans (IEPs) and specific learning goals Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to meet each students needs Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and participation Collaborate with classroom aides, therapists, and family members to ensure continuity of care and instruction Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and staff training sessions
