Job Description

Empower students to achieve their best, supporting their unique needs as a Behavior Specialist or Teacher for the Visually Impaired in a contract role near Brockton, MA. You'll collaborate with dedicated school teams, providing expert guidance and hands-on support to positively impact children's lives each day.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certified or licensed as a Behavior Specialist or Teacher for the Visually Impaired Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably with K-12 students Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt instructional and behavioral techniques to support diverse learners Organizational skills and a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans or adapted curriculum Work directly with students to build coping skills, improve academic access, and support social-emotional growth Consult with classroom teachers and aides, modeling best practices and offering resources Support families and provide regular progress updates Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements Engage in team meetings to review student needs and collaborate on solutions This contract opportunity is a chance to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys while working closely with a supportive community of professionals.
