The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction and developmental support to young learners with diverse learning and developmental needs in a structured and nurturing Pre-K environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEP goals. Provide specialized academic, developmental, social, and behavioral support. Adapt classroom activities and instructional materials to meet individual student needs. Support early literacy, communication, motor, social-emotional, and foundational learning skills. Implement accommodations, modifications, and positive behavior-support strategies. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff. Maintain a safe, nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Support students with transitions, routines, and age-appropriate classroom activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Valid Massachusetts teaching license/certification appropriate for Special Education and early childhood education, or eligibility to obtain one. Previous experience working with Pre-K or early childhood students preferred. Experience working with students with disabilities preferred. Knowledge of IEPs, differentiated instruction, accommodations, and behavioral support strategies. Strong communication, classroom-management, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively with young children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
