Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Experience or strong interest in working within a Developmental Learning Classroom environment Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring Strong classroom management and communication skills Adaptability and a creative approach to lesson planning and instruction Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with colleagues, families, and specialists

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and adapt instruction for students with a range of developmental needs in accordance with IEP goals Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and support staff to ensure student success Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for continued growth at home Track data and document student progress, making data-driven instructional decisions Participate in IEP meetings and help develop effective strategies tailored to each student's strengths and areas of need This position is full-time, offering 37.5 hours each week in an engaging school setting.
