Qualifications:

Current and active Special Education license/certification in Massachusetts for either Moderate or Severe Disabilities Prior school-based experience as a Special Education Teacher Experience supporting elementary-aged students, ideally at the 4th-grade level Comfortable working onsite during school hours, 8:50 AM to 3:50 PM Ability to complete CORI background and fingerprinting requirements Prepared to participate in a 30-minute interview process

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and individualized support for 4th-grade students with special needs Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's abilities and goals Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress Monitor and document student outcomes, communicating updates and recommendations as needed Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations In this role, you'll be immersed in a welcoming school community and gain valuable experience with a manageable caseload at Brophy Elementary.
