Qualifications & Experience:

Active Massachusetts licensure/certification in Special Education, with endorsement for Moderate or Severe disabilities required Prior school-based teaching experience is essential for success in this role Familiarity with the unique needs and strengths of elementary-aged students Willingness to complete CORI background check and fingerprinting as both are required before starting Strong communication skills and collaborative approach Comfortable with a structured school day and class schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support tailored to each 4th-grade student's IEP Develop differentiated lesson plans in line with state and district standards Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families for holistic support Track and report on student progress, updating goals and accommodations as needed Foster a caring, inclusive learning environment where every student thrives This role features a standard school day from 8:50 AM to 3:50 PM, allowing for an optimal work-life balance within a dynamic educational community.
