  • Announcement of Teaching Vacancy The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy.
The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher Location:
Parker Middle School Assignment Dates:
Immediate start
  • 06/18/2026 Dates are subject to change
General Description:
Provide special education instruction for students in a co-taught setting and provide academic support outside of the classroom setting. Work collaboratively with other teachers and administration to meet student needs.
  • MA DESE Teaching License:
    PreK-8 or 5-12 Moderate Special Needs license
  • Training and experience with specialized reading programs preferred.
  • Experience in modifying and adapting curriculum to ensure students can access the curriculum.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Experience with IEP development.
