Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher, youll provide individualized instruction, adapt curriculum, and advocate for students unique learning needs. Your expertise will empower students to reach their full potential, fostering both academic and personal development.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Bachelors degree in Special Education, Education, or related field (Masters preferred) Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), personalized learning plans, and classroom accommodations Familiarity with a variety of teaching techniques and assistive technologies Excellent organizational and communication skills Compassionate, team-oriented mindset with a student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective IEPs in collaboration with students support teams Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a classroom or resource setting Assess student progress, monitor growth, and adjust strategies as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports Assist students with behavioral, emotional, or physical needs to foster their academic success Work closely with colleagues, families, and specialists to ensure comprehensive support Promote a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for all
