Job Description

Step into an impactful role as a Special Education Teacher at a welcoming educational setting near Chicopee, MA. Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field Valid teaching certification in Special Education (State of Massachusetts license preferred) Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong classroom management and instructional skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Previous work with children with mild to moderate disabilities is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated instruction to meet the unique learning needs of each student Develop, update, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies for ongoing growth Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required Document and report on student achievements and behavior in a timely manner
