For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description
The Douglas High School is looking for a 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year to join our awesome team!.
Qualifications:
Required:
Valid Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities (5-12)
Experience working in an inclusive co-teaching setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, inclusive practices, and differentiated instruction.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
