Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a lead special education teacher for the TLC program. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact during the upcoming 26/27 school year, providing direct support and personalized instruction in a nurturing environment. This role seeks a talented professional with a strong background in special education. You'll collaborate closely with fellow educators to develop and deliver tailored educational plans that empower students to reach their full potential. As the lead teacher for the TLC program, youll play a key role in designing classroom strategies, monitoring student progress, and sharing insights with both faculty and families.
Qualifications:
Current MA Special Education Teacher licensure Experience working with middle school students preferred Proven background designing and implementing IEPs Excellent communication and organization skills Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Lead instruction and management of the TLC program classroom Develop individualized education plans and track student progress toward goals Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support based on student needs Maintain ongoing communication with parents, staff, and related service providers Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and self-advocacy Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program This full-time contract role (35 hours per week) runs throughout the 26/27 academic year, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students who need support the most.
