Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (appropriate state licensure required) Experience crafting and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong collaboration skills with parents, staff, and support personnel Proficient in adaptive teaching methods and differentiating instruction Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills Compassionate approach and a commitment to student development
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to students with varying abilities in accordance with IEPs Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize growth and achievement Coordinate and attend IEP meetings; maintain thorough documentation for compliance Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Communicate regularly with families regarding student successes and progress Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the school site This contract position offers a rewarding chance to champion student growth, expand your professional skills, and work alongside dedicated educators within a supportive learning community.
