Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Severe Disabilities or Moderate Disabilities Licensurethis is a must-have requirement. Previous Special Education teaching experience at any level, preferably Pre-K through 8th Grade. Skill in adapting curriculum, supporting IEP development, and implementing differentiated instruction. Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and support teams. Passion for supporting diverse learners within inclusive classroom settings.

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students with moderate or severe disabilities. Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with fellow educators, support personnel, and parents to ensure student progress and compliance with IEP goals. Track, assess, and document student growth using both informal and formal measures. Foster a supportive, positive learning atmosphere for all students.
