Job Overview 50 Stars Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Franklin, MA. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning, developmental, and behavioral needs while helping them achieve their academic and IEP goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement instruction aligned with student IEP goals. Provide specialized academic and behavioral support. Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the school team. Implement accommodations, modifications, and positive behavior-support strategies. Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families. Support students in developing academic, social, communication, and functional skills. Follow Massachusetts special education requirements and school policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Massachusetts DESE Special Education teaching license/certification or eligibility to obtain one. Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred. Knowledge of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring. Strong classroom-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
