Job Description

Make an impact supporting students growth and development in a collaborative school community as a Special Education Teacher on a contract assignment. This position offers the chance to create meaningful change in the lives of students with diverse learning needs by providing individualized instruction and interventions.
Your Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (appropriate to grade/setting) Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Recent experience teaching in Special Education programs or settings Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Flexibility and creativity in adapting lessons to meet students unique needs
Your Role Includes:
Developing and delivering targeted instruction to students with a range of disabilities Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers Assessing student skills, monitoring progress, and adapting strategies based on results Creating and maintaining detailed IEPs and participating in eligibility and review meetings Providing direct instruction in individual, small group, or inclusive classroom settings Supporting social-emotional and behavioral needs with evidence-based interventions Communicating regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies
