Professional Qualifications:
Valid teaching credential/certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience or strong interest working with visually impaired students in a school setting Familiarity with Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional methods Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to adapt lesson plans and support materials for diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to K-12 students with visual impairments Craft and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Partner closely with classroom educators, support staff, and families Evaluate student progress and refine strategies as needed Advocate for accessible resources and inclusive learning environments
