Job Description

Step into an impactful role as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year at the middle school level. This contract position is located conveniently near Leominster, MA, and is ideal for educators passionate about guiding students with diverse learning needs. Here, you will serve as the lead special education teacher for the TLC program, supporting growth and achievement in a collaborative and enriching environment.
What Youll Need:
Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher licensure Experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementation Ability to collaborate with general and special education staff, counselors, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Your Responsibilities:
Act as the lead instructor within the TLC program, building effective instructional plans tailored to students specific needs Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs Engage in regular communication with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and goals Implement evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development This role offers 35 hours per week throughout the 2026-2027 school year, providing you with a stable and rewarding opportunity to inspire and support students at a pivotal stage of their educational journey.
