Job Description

Empower students and support their growth as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming academic environment near Lowell, MA. This contract placement serves a diverse K-8 caseload and offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in students' lives each day, collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Active Moderate to Severe Special Education Teaching License required Proven experience supporting K-8 students in resource, self-contained, or inclusion settings Deep knowledge of IEP development and implementation Competence in differentiated instruction and behavioral management Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment
Your Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with each students IEP Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers to meet academic and functional goals Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed Communicate regularly with families and maintain thorough documentation Promote self-advocacy and social-emotional growth among students Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences This full-time, Monday through Friday role offers a consistent daytime schedule in Methuen, MA, allowing you to focus on instruction and build lasting relationships with students and school staff.
