Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role shaping the academic journeys of K-2nd grade students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. Required Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with K-2nd grade students, preferably in a school setting Strong understanding of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement meaningful, differentiated instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs Develop, update, and monitor IEPs to ensure compliance and student growth Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and specialists to maximize student outcomes Maintain a safe, respectful, and proactive classroom environment Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed Communicate consistently with families about student progress and strategies for support at home Participate in professional development and departmental meetings

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.20 to $50.20. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
