Job Description

Make a difference in students lives as a Special Education Teacher working with K-12 learners in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to utilize your expertise and passion for helping students reach their full potential across a variety of classroom settings. Caseloads are thoughtfully assigned and may include different age groups and learning needs, offering a dynamic and rewarding professional experience. Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts Special Education License is required. Experience working with K-12 students, ideally in multiple classroom settings. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Proficient in differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching strategies. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group instruction designed to meet students unique needs. Develop, implement, and track progress of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers, school support staff, and families to best support each students learning. Adapt curriculum and create engaging lessons for various ability levels. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting methods as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records as required.
