Special Education Teacher-Humanities Medford Public Schools - 3.8 Medford, MA Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Teaching humanities Social-emotional learning (SEL) support in special education Personalized learning curriculum development Full Job Description Special Education High School- HumanitiesTeach and case-manage a small classroom of students requiring direct, individualized and small-group instruction, based on IEP goals and objectives, within a highly supported setting. There is a strong focus on organizational and self-determination skill development to prepare students for academic success. A strong background in the design and implementation of science curricula for students with social-emotional and other learning differences is essential to this position. The teacher hired for this position will work within a team setting that includes program teachers, School Adjustment Counselors, and BCBA consultation.
