Qualifications:
Valid and active Special Education Teacher certification/license as required by the state of Massachusetts Experience or proficiency working within Developmental Learning Classroom environments Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive, student-focused learning atmospheres
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to diverse student needs Develop, review, and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with general education staff, related service personnel, and families Track and report on student progress, adapting strategies to best serve each learner Cultivate a positive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes growth
