Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with K-2nd grade students or early elementary ages Strong knowledge of IEP process and implementation Ability to develop and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Create and deliver individualized lesson plans in accordance with IEP goals Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment for students with varying abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Maintain accurate records for student progress, attendance, and IEP documentation Communicate regularly with families regarding student development and achievement Participate in meetings and professional development as required
