Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students in an inclusive classroom environment as a Special Education Teacher. This contract position offers the exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference while working full-time—35 hours per week—with a moderate caseload. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education Previous experience working with elementary-aged students Familiarity with the inclusion classroom model and ability to provide differentiated instruction Experience managing moderate caseloads and developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families Commitment to fostering an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and implement instructional strategies tailored to diverse learners within an inclusion setting Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations Provide direct support and individualized interventions for students with special needs Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and materials Track student progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families and team members Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
