Qualifications:

Valid moderate disabilities certification (grades 5-12) required Experience working in special education settings at the middle school or high school level Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families Proficiency in implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and adapting instruction Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct special education services to students, adapting instruction to meet individual IEP goals Develop and maintain lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to diverse learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and parents to support student success Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development opportunities
