Qualifications Special Education Certification Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking educators licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in Moderate Special Education. Successful candidates will be committed to fostering student achievement, equity, and access for all learners, while supporting students with a range of learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

Teachers at NEC work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction in highly supportive and structured learning environments. Experience working with students with social-emotional disabilities is strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Special Education requiredExperience working with students with special needs preferredKnowledge of differentiated instruction and behavior support strategiesStrong collaboration, communication, and organizational skillsCommitment to inclusive and equitable practices
