Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for Special Education Teachers passionate about individualized instruction and dedicated to helping every child reach their potential. Work onsite with a collaborative staff, utilizing your expertise to provide the best educational experience for students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities.
Key Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Valid certification in Special Education Experience working with students who have severe disabilities, including both cognitive and physical needs Familiarity with supporting students on the autism spectrum, including non-verbal learners Comfort with assisting in toileting and personal care as needed
Preferred:
background in specially designed instruction and applied behavior analysis Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom staff, RBTs, and related service providers Commitment to inclusive, compassionate education in a K-5 setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver specially designed instruction within substantially separate classrooms for K-1st and 3rd-5th grade students Employ individualized strategies and communication supports for non-verbal students Collaborate with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams Provide a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Assist with toileting and promote independence in self-care skills Track and report on student progress, work with IEP teams, and adjust instructional approaches as needed This role offers the opportunity to create positive change and build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues.
