Job Description

Bring your expertise in supporting students with diverse needs to a rewarding contract opportunity near Quincy, MA. This position seeks a dedicated professional with a background as a Behavior Specialist and/or experience as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Working within a school environment, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive, inclusive setting where every student can reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification or credential in Behavior Analysis or Vision Education Proven success working with students with behavioral needs and/or visual impairments in school settings Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related accommodations Excellent collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff Ability to implement evidence-based interventions and adaptive strategies Compassionate approach with a focus on building student confidence and independence
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute targeted behavior intervention plans (BIPs) or vision support strategies Provide direct student support individually and in classroom settings Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track progress Consult with teachers and staff to integrate recommendations into daily routines Deliver professional development or trainings relating to behavior management or visual impairment Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations This contract role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a substantial difference in students educational journeys.
