Job Description
A creative and collaborative special education teacher with a strong working knowledge of special
education regulations and required documentation to work with students with learning disabilities
(grades preK-8). Applicants must have current State of Mass certification in special education.
Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills and be willing to work as part of a multi-
disciplinary team.
Experience and Responsibility:
2-3 years teaching experience, Special Education Licensure, IEP writing, evaluation and report
writing experience, responsible for effective management of a substantially separate classroom environment
as well as the implementation of a classroom-wide positive behavior and intervention support system. and strong
written and verbal communication skills. Other responsibilities deemed appropriate and assigned by
the Building Principal and/or the PPS Director.
Reading certification preferred
