School-day hours (no specific shifts or shift days identified) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support the SOAR Program (Student Opportunities for Academic Readiness) at a school in Sharon, MA. The SOAR program is a self-contained, highly supportive educational setting designed for students who benefit from the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to successfully access the school environment. While many students in the program have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, a diagnosis is not required for participation. The program emphasizes individualized instruction and whole-child development, with structured opportunities for inclusion throughout the week. Program & Classroom Setting Self-contained program (students spend more than 60% of their school day in SOAR) Instruction provided in 1:1 or small-group ratios (1:2 or 1:3), based on individual student needs Student programs are highly individualized and designed to support academic, behavioral, social, and functional skill development Key Responsibilities Support students during academic instruction in individual and small-group settings Implement behavior support strategies based on ABA principles Assist students with: Academic skill development Social skills (peer interaction, play) Access skills (navigating classroom and school environments) Behavior skills (de-escalation and conflict resolution) Daily living skills (tooth brushing, handwashing, toileting) Readiness skills (following directions, raising hands, participating in group activities) Communication skills (expressing needs, maintaining conversations) Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistency with student plans

Minimum Requirements:
