Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Special Education Teacher to support preschool-aged students in a welcoming school environment near Shrewsbury, MA. Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (appropriate to Massachusetts requirements) Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood special education students is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong collaboration skills for working closely with families, teachers, and support staff Effective communication and organizational abilities Positive, nurturing approach to building relationships with young learners
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction and support to preschool students with diverse learning needs Design and adapt instructional materials and strategies to ensure student success Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring in accordance with IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development activities Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policy and state regulations Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive
