Immediately Job Description West Boylston Public Schools is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in grades 8-12. This role focuses on ensuring access to the general education curriculum, supporting academic achievement, and fostering independence through inclusive practices, co-teaching, and targeted interventions.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Provide direct instruction in both inclusion (co-teaching) and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, instruction, and assessments
- Deliver small-group and individualized instruction to support skill development and IEP goals
- Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress and inform instruction
- Support students' academic, organizational, and executive functioning skills
- Implement accommodations and modifications to ensure access to learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
