Machine Operator CoWorx Staffing - 3.4 West Boylston, MA Job Details Full-time $19 - $20 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Respirator Full Job Description CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operator candidates in the West Boylston, MA area.
Responsibilities:
Maintain area organization and product flow under the direction and supervision of the Area Lead. Understand, follow, and support all equipment setup and shutdown procedures within the Robotic and Gasket departments. Participate in failure analysis and corrective action investigations alongside the Area Lead and Engineering team. Support continuous improvement initiatives by helping enhance products, processes, quality, and operational efficiency within the Robotic and Gasket departments. Operate robotic manufacturing equipment proficiently while maintaining product quality and adherence to specifications. Work extended hours, including overtime and 12-hour shifts, as required by production demands. Remain standing for the full duration of the shift while performing assigned production and manufacturing duties. Responsible for achieving daily production and quality objectives within the Robotic and Gasket Departments. Operate manufacturing equipment and perform multiple production-related tasks to meet or exceed departmental deadlines and performance expectations. Follow all company production, quality, and safety procedures, as well as Standard Work Instructions and Workmanship Standards, to ensure product quality and compliance. Support technical evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Engineering to improve process efficiency, production rates, and product yields. Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds throughout the workday to support production activities. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, approximately one to four times per day, as required.Desired Background/Skills:
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position effectively and safely. Ability to recognize opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in implementing quality and manufacturing process enhancements within the gasket department. Ability to meet and exceed production goals, performance objectives, and operational expectations. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to team members, Area Leads, Engineering personnel, and upper management. Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and collaborate with Area Leads and Engineers to develop effective solutions. Ability to demonstrate key competencies, participate in goal setting, receive and provide performance feedback, and engage in continuous self-development activities.Other Information:
Must be able to wear a respirator when mixing paint or working with solvents; limited to no facial hair is permitted to comply with company respirator policies. Minimum commitment of 40 hours per week required, with additional hours and overtime as needed.Monday through Thursday schedule:
6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Friday schedule:
6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.Saturday schedule:
6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, typically one Saturday per month. Ability to work the assigned schedule and support production requirements, including occasional overtime.
