Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Active State Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Previous experience working in a school environment, especially with one-to-one student support, preferred Strong understanding of adaptive technologies for visually impaired students Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers Willingness and ability to work full-time, onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored educational support to one student, ensuring access to the general curriculum Develop and implement individualized education plans in consultation with multidisciplinary teams Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of the student Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust instruction based on assessed needs Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that supports growth, confidence, and independence Stay current with advances in assistive technology and best practices in visual impairment education
