Self-contained classroom teacher at the elementary level, supporting students with diverse needs in a focused environment. Inclusion teacher roles at the middle and high school levels, collaborating with general education staff to promote student success in integrated settings. Behavior support teacher at the elementary level, partnering with students and staff to implement positive strategies for improved behavior and learning.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; Masters preferred Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience providing instruction and/or behavioral support to students with exceptional needs Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varied learning needs Passion for fostering inclusive, positive classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored instruction based on IEPs, ensuring progress toward academic goals Assess student strengths and needs, adapting lessons and interventions accordingly Maintain accurate records, documenting progress and collaborating with IEP teams Communicate regularly with families, related service providers, and administration Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and instructional aides Foster a safe, engaging, and respectful learning atmosphere
