9669474-21601 Job Description A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a certified Special Education Teacher to work with elementary-aged students at a welcoming school near Easton, MD. This full-time position is ideal for compassionate professionals who are passionate about supporting diverse learners and making a difference in the lives of children. The role is set to begin as soon as possible, lasting through the anticipated end of the 2026-27 school year. In this position, youll collaborate with general education staff and be a key advocate for students with a range of needs, primarily Other Health Impairment (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment. Your caseload will remain fluid, typically serving 10-15 students at any given time, and most services are provided within the general education classroom to facilitate inclusion and social learning.

Qualifications:

Current certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience with elementary-aged students preferred Familiarity with a range of disabilities, including OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairment Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to personalized instruction and inclusive education

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative special education services to elementary students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Take the next step in your special education career and help shape young minds in a positive, collaborative school culture.
