Job Description

Make an impact this school year by supporting students with special needs in a dynamic educational environment. We are seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for full-time, onsite contract positions starting in August and running through early June. These roles offer an opportunity to empower students and collaborate with dedicated educators in a supportive setting. In these positions, youll serve either Oakdale Middle Schoolworking with a caseload of 15 students in the Learning for Life Program (7:30am-3:30pm)or at a second site to be determined, supporting self-contained elementary classes (9:00am-3:30pm) with caseloads of approximately ten students, including roles focused on self-contained behavioral support at Centerville Elementary.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the appropriate age group Experience working with students in self-contained and/or inclusive settings Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral/academic support Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment This is an excellent opportunity for educators driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference in students lives.
