Job Overview:
Must have 90 hours Lead qualifications and minimum experience of 2 years in a daycare setting. Also must have Associates or Bachelors in Early Childhood education. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture our 3-year-old learners. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social-emotional skills, and foundational math concepts. As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape young minds during this critical stage of growth and learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood education principles, including literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Plan engaging daily lessons that incorporate child development instruction and support individual learning styles. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe, respectful environment conducive to learning. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress using standardized testing methods and developmental assessments. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or welfare. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain a safe environment by following health and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures. Collaborate with team members to coordinate classroom activities, special events, and early intervention strategies for children needing additional support in areas like special education or behavior management. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential, with a minimum of three years in early childhood education preferred. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for toddlers aged 2 to 3 years old. Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and development. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration are required. Knowledge of childhood development milestones, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in preschool teaching is necessary. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood education or preschool teaching are a plus. Pay:
$21.00 - $29.87 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
