Qualifications & Experience:

Current Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility) Experience working with students who have a variety of learning, behavioral, and/or physical challenges Strong communication and collaboration abilities Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and legal compliance Skilled in differentiating instruction and implementing individualized supports Patience, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset

Responsibilities:

Develop, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's needs Implement IEPs, assess student progress, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with general education teachers, classroom aides, and support staff Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes student confidence and independence Engage with families and caregivers to support student goals Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and school policies This role provides a platform for educators passionate about changing lives and advocating for students with exceptionalities.
