In this role, you will co-lead with another lead teacher in implementing educational activities, managing classroom routines, and fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes growth and development. Your energy and compassion will be vital in helping children explore, learn, and thrive during their formative years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Work with other lead teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional development, and early childhood learning standards. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and social interaction. Provide attentive care to children's basic needs, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as necessary. Help implement specialized programs such as behavior management strategies for children with diverse needs or disabilities. Communicate effectively with parents and team members to ensure consistent support for each child's development. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success. A background in childcare or toddler care provides a solid foundation for supporting early childhood learning experiences. Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
