e2112-04345 Job Description Empower students with visual impairments to thrive in an educational setting as a dedicated teaching professional. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity offers the chance to work 1:1 with a pediatric student, making a significant, meaningful impact throughout a long-term assignment. Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Valid state-issued Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification Experience supporting students with visual impairments, preferably in a school setting Strong background in individualized instruction and adapting educational materials Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills Willingness to work one-on-one with a pediatric learner for the duration of the assignment Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to school environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized, 1:1 instruction to a visually impaired student in a school setting Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the child's individual learning needs Adapt and modify classroom materials, leveraging assistive technology as needed Monitor progress, track data, and adjust instructional strategies to maximize learning Collaborate with classroom staff, therapists, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative educational planning As a valued team member, you will enjoy health and dental insurance coverage, a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and competitive weekly pay, providing both professional fulfillment and financial security.
