Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full Time Teacher or Floater to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to young children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Whether serving as a dedicated classroom teacher or stepping in as a floater to support various classrooms, your enthusiasm and expertise will foster children's growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Duties Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual child needs Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills Support children's developmental milestones through tailored activities in literacy, math, physical education, and more Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and achievements Ensure adherence to safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures Collaborate with team members to coordinate classroom activities and share best practices for early childhood education Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and classroom observations Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child welfare and safety at all times Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments Knowledge of early childhood development principles and curriculum development techniques Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Classroom management skills to create an organized, engaging learning environment Familiarity with childhood development instruction, standardized testing, and tutoring methods Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred Ability to work flexible hours as needed for classroom coverage or special events Knowledge of Montessori methods or experience teaching physical education is a plus Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diversity and child welfare Join us in shaping bright futures! Pay:
$17.00 - $19.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
