Qualifications:

Current and active Michigan Special Education teaching license (must provide verification screenshot) Specialization or experience working with high school students on the autism spectrum preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Ability to design and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Compassionate and flexible approach to engaging with students, families, and staff

Role Expectations:

Deliver individualized and group instruction in a high school ASD classroom environment Develop and implement IEPs, monitoring student progress and making adjustments as needed in collaboration with fellow educators and allied professionals Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment to enhance learning, social skills, and independence for students Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards Communicate proactively with families, support staff, and administration to ensure student success Bring your passion for impactful teaching and advocacy for young people with special needs.
