We are seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers to make a lasting impact for the upcoming school year, serving students from early elementary through high school. These rewarding contract positions will span from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering full-time hours within a diverse and collaborative district.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (please ensure your certification is submitted with your application) Experience in early childhood, middle, or high school special education preferred Strong classroom management and individualized instructional skills Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering inclusive learning for students with varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students IEP goals Support students academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development Partner with families, support staff, and teachers to promote student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all Special Education policies and regulations Assume responsibility for either an early learning elementary, middle school, or high school caseload
