Qualifications and Experience:

Current, active Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Michigan (MI SPED License) Experience supporting elementary-aged students, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a range of other disabilities Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and fellow staff Able to adapt instruction and strategies to meet varying academic, behavioral, and social needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all students can thrive

Role Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver individualized educational programs (IEPs) in accordance with students unique learning profiles Implement evidence-based interventions and accommodations for a variety of disabilities with a primary focus on ASD Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support personnel to promote student success Monitor, document, and communicate student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed Engage positively with families and caregivers, building strong relationships to support each child's development
