Positions Needed:

• Teacher of Students with Emotional Impairments
• Teacher of Students with Moderate Cognitive Impairments
• Teacher of Students with Severe Cognitive Impairments Job Summary
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide and coordinate instructional programs for students in assigned classroom.
• Assess students' achievement and develop instructional strategies to meet individual educational needs of students in assigned classroom.
• Schedule, prepare, and coordinate IEP meetings for assigned students.
• Coordinates and implements behavior intervention plans for assigned students.
• Work cooperatively and communicate with staff, students, and parents/guardians.
• Maintain and process appropriate records/reports.
• Organize the classroom to provide an effective learning climate.
• Prepare and implement daily lesson plans.
• Provide direction and guidance to Instructional Aides.
• Establish and maintain a cooperative and supportive relationship with all students.
• Collaborate and coordinate with ancillary staff, support staff and administration.
• Accurately meet all mandated special education documentation and reporting in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned. Monday
