This is a full-time, in-person contract opportunity working with 9th to 12 grades across both traditional and virtual classroom environments.

Assignment Details Contract Dates:

August 24, 2026 through June 4, 2027

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00

PM Hours:

32.5 hours per week (6.5-hour days, including a 30-minute lunch)

Setting:

High School (Grades 9 to 12)

Caseload:

Approximately 34 students (20 virtual, 14 in-person) Opportunity to work in both traditional and virtual classroom settings Responsibilities Provide instruction and support to students with special education needs Manage caseload across in-person and virtual learning environments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state guidelines Requirements Active Michigan Special Education Teacher License (MDE) Fingerprinting and background clearance required Experience in a high school or similar setting preferred Strong organizational and communication skills
