35+ Hours/Week | Monday-Friday Soliant Education is hiring a Michigan-certified Special Education Teacher for a K-2 cross-categorical classroom in the Downriver/Metro Detroit area. Why Apply Caseload capped at 15 students 3 paraprofessionals providing classroom support 50-minute daily prep period 40-minute uninterrupted lunch Defined short-term maternity leave assignment Consistent daytime schedule Responsibilities Provide instruction aligned with student IEPs Manage progress monitoring and documentation Lead and collaborate with classroom paraprofessionals Support students with diverse learning and communication needs Utilize AAC supports when appropriate Requirements Active Michigan Special Education Certification required Elementary SPED experience preferred Cross-categorical experience preferred AAC/TD Snap experience is a plus Qualified Michigan SPED teachers are encouraged to apply.
