Job Description

Job Title:
Certified Special Education Teacher Reports To:
Coordinator/Case Manager, Instructional Coach - Special Education, or Director of Special Education About the
Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with disabilities. You'll manage IEPs, track student progress, and collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
What You'll Do:
Deliver instruction tailored to individual and small-group needs, aligned with general education curriculum Manage and update IEPs in collaboration with families and IEP teams Use technology and creative teaching strategies to engage students Apply classroom modifications and behavior interventions when needed Participate in meetings, assessments, and interdisciplinary planning Maintain accurate student records and monitor progress
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Education and a current Special Education teaching certificate Knowledge of K-12 special education requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Comfort using technology and Microsoft Office tools Professionalism in handling confidential information

Physical Requirements:
