Duties:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, including goals related to literacy, math, communication skills, and behavioral health Design and deliver dynamic lesson plans that incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies for upper elementary students Utilize classroom management techniques to create a positive, structured learning environment that promotes engagement and minimizes disruptions Collaborate closely with speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and other specialists to integrate speech therapy and behavioral health interventions into daily activities Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments Provide tutoring and mentoring support to reinforce learning objectives and build confidence Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEP implementation, behavioral management strategies, and communication with families

Qualifications:

Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate Possess or able to obtain a Degree or Masters in Special Education Classroom experience as a student or practicing teacher, otherwise experience working with School Aged Students or Special Education Candidate must possess Strong Communication and Classroom Management Skills Candidate must exhibit the ability work in a collaborative high energy environment Strong knowledge of childhood development, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies to develop engaging lesson plans Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, therapists, and support staff Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms lives!
